Henry Bes Concert at Nautilus, Perpignan

The inaugural concert at Nautilus in Perpignan was a spectacular event, featuring the incredible talent of Henry Bes. The audience was thrilled to experience a unique blend of Bashung’s soul and Gainsbourg’s charm, creating an unforgettable musical journey.

Henry Bes’s influences are countless, ranging from literary markers to musical signatures. The voices and lyrics of Ian Curtis, Robert Smith, Lou Reed, Brassens, Gainsbourg, Daho, Dominique A, and the poetry and literature of Henri Michaux, Samuel Beckett, and Maître Charles have all shaped his artistic path. He is drawn to differences, from classical music to American hip-hop and even a touch of metal, but his primary source lies somewhere between The Cure, Nick Drake, and Dire Straits—an intriguing cocktail.

Henry's artistic journey has seen many lives before his current project. His previous creations and achievements with Franck Garcia and the band Charlotte B. stand out. Franck, with whom he produced his first demo album, and Charlotte B., alongside Philippe Péralba (currently part of the Bipolaire project with Carine), opened for prominent acts like Cali, Miossec, and The National, showcasing their remarkable talent.
